Account verification is an important safety feature to ensure users are real people.  If you are prompted to verify your account upon login, you must complete the verification before you will be able to access your account. 

Additionally you may complete an optional photo verification that adds a check mark badge to your account to display to other users that you are the person in your profile photo.  For more information, see the article “How do I get the verification check mark?”
